Hale Hockey Club Junior program caters for boys and girls from 5 to 18 years.

Players from Year 5 to Year 12 of all levels of ability are welcome to participate in weekend competition.

Children turning 9 this year have the opportunity to participate in an Under 9 Half field competition on a Saturday mornings (venue TBC) as well as the Minkey program on Friday afternoons.

Our Minkey program is aimed at children from 5 – 9 years of age, focussing on the development of skills and early game concepts and most importantly having fun. Minkey is held on Friday afternoons at Hale Hockey Club from 4.15-5.15pm where all participants rotate between grass and the Aqua Turf.

In 2009 HHC fielded 13 teams in Hockey WA competitions with all teams being competitive in every age group from A, B or C grade thanks to our first class coaching staff, facilities and parental support.  Eighty plus children participated in an innovative Minkey Program implemented by expert and celebrity coaches.

The Hale Hockey Club aim is to provide all players with the opportunity to reach their potential, both as individuals and team members.

We anticipate 2010 to be another successful year in the life of our longstanding club and we welcome all new and existing members.

Junior Registration Day is on Saturday  20th February at the HHC clubrooms 10 am - 4pm.  Junior competition commences in the first weekend in May.

Welcome everybody to the new Hale Hockey Club webpage

For those of you who don't know  much about Web Pages, and the cue forms behind me on that one,  it has been a pleasure to watch several people develop this new web page for the benefit of all club members and as a window to our club for anyone who passes by this site.

Over the next few weeks more detail will be added  to the various sections as we learn how to implement all the tools at our disposal.

Some of the links are already working  - especially the link to 'Fixtures and Results' this will take you to the Sporting Pulse home page for WA - so select your grade and off you go.

Gallery, History and Contacts links have some content already - so please be patient with us we try to provide you with as much information and fun as we can, now where is  that funny picture...... oh excellent, I just learned how to scan - lovely photo Sheldon Brown by the way, now how to upload it?
